America’s Next Top Model Alum Cory Wade Presents Fashion Under The Shambles

The title “Fashion Under The Shambles,” might lead one to believe that it was a disaster, but the fashion was nothing but the latest in cutting edge street style.
America’s Next Top Model 2nd runner up, on the show’s first co-ed cycle, Cory Wade Hindorff served of the Master of Ceremonies for the 2nd annual event.The weather was slightly cool, but perfect for attendees to show off their fall style.The outdoor fashion show featured everything from clothing, accessories, and wigs from boutiques in the South Street District.
The mood was set with decorative lighting and upbeat sounds from DJ Static Reach. The night started with a cocktail hour sponsored by sponsors Bridget Foy’s, Bistro Romano, Cavanaugh’s Headhouse and His and Hers Restaurant.
The anticipation was building from the crowd as they anxiously waited for the show to start. The show was broken down into segments, based on each boutique that participated.
As the host Cory Wade announced each boutique’s segment, a model dressed in black held a card with each boutique’s logo.
Fur, leather, and suede were the trends that had a reoccurring theme for each segment of the show. Each boutique put their own twist on the classic trends for the Fall season. Also accessories and details in anything from accessories to shoes were another element of style that was highlighted.
The models selected for the show were supporters, staff, and friends of the boutique. The models represented a wide range of body types and heights, which sent the message that fashion is for all regardless of what one may look like physically.
There were some surprise elements added throughout the show such as models walking down the runway with large animals heads and over the top colorful wigs.

Fashion Under The Shambles has become a signature event for Philly Fashion, and showcases the best in fashion that the South Street District has to offer. According to Cory Wade’s Instagram account, the outdoor fashion show will return again in the Fall.
