Catelli Duo – A Delicious Twist on Italian Cuisine

If you are looking for scrumptious Italian cuisine with a trendy but cozy setting in the Voorhees, N.J. area you don’t have to search high or low to find it. Catelli Duo offers delicious food that is both fresh and seasonal within a spacious location.

On the day of arrival, the skies opened and torrential rain poured from the heavens. Fortunately there was plenty of available parking very close to Catelli Duo’s entrance. If you so choose, the parking valet were on hand to take your car in this and all types of weather.

Choose your seating based on the temperament of the night. If meeting friends or coworkers for drinks, head over to the bar. Catelli Duo also has outdoor seating and live music performing every Thursday night for those who would like to appreciate the warm weather. There is of course the main restaurant with large windows to let in the natural light without the glare.

You will notice quickly notice the staff’s friendliness in making sure you are comfortable and welcomed. The menu offered numerous options for any appetite. If you wanted to share with your companion there was the DUO – twice the size and perfect to share. Perhaps passing the plate isn’t on the night’s agenda, the UNO – a tapas-like portion is better for you.

Catelli Duo focused their energies on their Italian cuisine, atmosphere, and a huge inventory of fine wines to choose from. No matter what you decided to be agenda of the day, you will leave with happy and satiated with the best regional Italian food in the area.

(Left) Pain Killer – How much pain are you in? Try Pyrat xo rum, fresh orange juice, pineapple, cream of coconut, fresh ground nutmeg / (Right) Cucumber – Van Gogh melon vodka, cucumber water, with fresh squeezed lime.


See fresh food and dive right in to the Tuna Cannelloni.


Clear out the fog from your head with this spicy dish. Stuffed Long Hots filled with short rib and sharp provolone with a drizzle lemon-parm aioli.


These Short Rib Stuffed Meatballs of kobe beef and veal blend on a bed of creamy polenta and fresh marinara is proof that there’s a higher power that loves us.


You can taste the ocean’s essence in the Colossal Crab Martini served straight up with mustard sauce.


The best twist on the Philly cheesesteak outside of Philly, the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls.


Beautiful look at and wonderful to drink is the Fire & Ice (Absolut ruby red vodka, cranberry juice, and fresh jalapeño with a sugar rim).


What’s old is new again! Here’s the New Old Fashioned Grey Goose l’orange vodka, muddled orange slices, house-made simple syrup, and a splash of fresh squeezed lime juice.


You can taste the freshness. Harvest Salad with seasonal berries, fruits, roasted beets, and goat cheese.


So tender you can cut the meat with your fork. Here’s the slow cooked Short Rib on white truffle risotto.


Veal “Carbonara” pan-fried cutlets, fettuccine alfredo, fried egg, crispy prosciutto. You will think you died and went to gastronomic heaven.


If you are a seafood lover than you found your perfect match in the Lobster Bisque with jumbo lump crab meat.


Perfect with dessert or on its own is the Espresso Cocktail.


It’s good so incorporate more fruits. Try the Mango Cocktail with Absolut mandarin vodka, mango liqueur, and fresh mango puree.


If you are looking for decadence, you have found it with the Krispy Kreme™ Bread Pudding.


Don’t worry if you are feeling full. Ice cream can fill in the cracks! You’ll be delighted with the Belgian Waffle Sundae.
