Get Your Hair Blown Out and More at Cherry Blow Dry Bar

Story, photos by Cassie Hepler

Many women will agree that hair can make or break their mood. Until recently, salon-worthy hair was limited to those with deep pockets. Enter blowout bars that offer simple treatments that wash and style a client’s hair for a fraction of the cost at a regular salon.

One such salon – Cherry Blow Dry Bar – is offering this affordable luxury to the masses. With blowouts starting at about $35, Cherry Blow Dry Bar is making it possible for clients to come in twice a week without breaking the bank. Those looking to get a bang for their buck can take advantage of one of the three membership packages Cherry Blow Dry Bar offers, which starts at about $59 for two monthly blowouts.

Salon goers can pick and choose from Cherry Blow Dry Bar’s styling menu which includes nine different hairstyles – from updos and beachy waves to braids and voluminous curls. Additional services such as hair treatments, full makeup application, scalp massages, hair extensions, braids and clip-in applications are also offered.

With two area locations in Cherry Hill, NJ and Paoli, PA, Cherry Blow Dry Bar has several locations in various stages of development (one of which will be in the Philly area and four in South Jersey). We partnered up with our website partner, Philly Grub to go have a girls day of blowouts and lunch right next door at Honeygrow.

The weather was taunting us with rain that morning at Cherry Hill Blow Dry Bar in Cherry Hill, N.J. a perfect test for a blowout. Sunshine soon came out.
Walking inside the blow dry bar we were greeted with smiles.
Tons of products ranging from makeup to hair for whatever you need or fell in love with that day.
A $39 blowout special with walk-ins are always welcome. Just steer clear of Fridays that’s prime time or you might wait a bit!
We were lead to the back where they had the washing station with scalp massage.
Some lovely ladies to the left of us getting their hair washed before the blowouts began.
There’s a sort of menu where clients can choose from a range of hairstyles and of course you can bring your own ideas too!
Remnants of Chardonnay from a photoshoot the salon had looked pretty tasty to us!
Marilyn Johnson from Philly Grub was raving about her hair and that fact there was so much volume to it!
Cassie Hepler went for all the curls which looked amazing for a photoshoot later that day.
This nifty little step and repeat is a great idea and they serve patrons of all colors and hairstyles here. It is 2017 after all!
