Celebrity Corner owner Dominic Gaggiano has a winner in The Chelsea Beach Bar, which opened on August 6th and is located on the beach at the Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City. He also selected a wonderful interior designer Cynthia Cortopassi, to create a casual venue to sip a brew or enjoy a menu option.

The night’s entertainment featured the Philly band, Steal Your Face, providing music for a crowded dance floor. Guitarist Paul Baroli is also the band’s leader.

Opening night featured Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian snipping the ceremonial red ribbon to celebrate the arrival of one of Atlantic City’s unique beach bars.  It highlighted a fun evening of drinks, dance and food. Mayor Guardian praised Mr. Gaggiano and Ms. Cortopassi for creating  a wonderful beach facility that brings excitement to the area.

Among guests enjoying the cool night air and a cocktail at the bar were a couple from suburban Philadelphia, Shirley and Mike Graniak. The couple were in Atlantic City celebrating their 41st wedding anniversary. Also, the Rios family from Connecticut were staying at The Chelsea Hotel and enjoying the new beach bar.

The beach party serves up more than just sea breezes; the Chelsea Beach Bar offers tasty food from Teplitzky’s and Celebrity Corner restaurants.  Every hour is happy hour offering sun drenched fun.  Everyone is welcome and guests of the hotel receive vouchers for 20% off their beach bar bills.

If sitting on the beach and digging your toes into the sand, isn’t enough…you can head up to the Chelsea’s fifth floor for their AC Daylife Saturday pool parties, happening all summer long.
