Chris had been on tour for so long that Philadelphia was missing him and could not wait to see what he would bring. It had to have been at a minimum 15 years since his last tour. Chris Tucker, in my opinion, brought SugarHouse down. He started Whine About It Wednesdays and had people in their cubicles green with envy as he drank copious amounts of red wine at his desk during work and still got paid to do so. “It got to a point where Buzzfeed told me I had to make a choice,” he said. Noah, host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central, performed his stand-up for a sold out crowd and touched on topics outside the usual current events slant of his show, including his experiences traveling and many riffs on the differences between the U.S. and his native South Africa. The night started with Angelo Lozada warming up the crowd as the opening act. Amy Schumer Takes the Cake at the Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival
By Jill Beckel There was something for everyone at the Funny or Die’s Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden this past Sunday, September 13th. The event began at 5:15pm with a few comics on the outdoor festival stage while guests played games and enjoyed some food and drinks. It was a perfect, clear night for some outdoor fun. Then at 7:00pm, everyone made their way to the main stage.
