6th Annual Dinèr En Blanc Takes Over Franklin Square for Biggest Fête Yet
Story, photos by Tyra Gardner Philadelphia hosted the 6th Annual Diner En Blanc Pop Up Dinner on a summer Thursday in August 2017. This is one of the highly anticipated premier events of the summer with 5,300 attendees starting at 6 p.m. All attendees dress in all white, meet at various designated locations throughout the city from 30th Street Station to the Sugar House Casino, some attendees walked from their locations while others that were at further locations were escorted their by Group Leaders on Chartered Buses. Each attendee was to bring their white fold up chairs, roll up tables, white table linens, white china wine glasses and picnic baskets…

Dîner en Blanc Steps Up Fifth Anniversary to Art Museum
Photos, story by Deja Cromartie Dîner en Blanc Philadelphia celebrated its fifth anniversary with an unforgettable evening filled with elegance, food, art and music. The Art Museum was transformed into a beautiful “All American Paris.” There were about 5,000 people adorned in white clothing and accessories that taking photos with the Rocky Statue as well as running up and down the infamous Rocky Steps. The view was also a beautiful sight once everyone was set up with their tables. As a first time attendee of Dîner en Blanc, I was really impressed by the table decor. Prophet / Photos by Lou Perri For those who never heard of Diner En Blanc, it might have been a curious sight to see couples and groups walking around dressed in white from head to toe, carrying picnic baskets, coolers, chairs, and portable tables. With a waiting list of over 30,000 people, only 4,500 lucky chosen few attended the annual pop-up surprise dinner location.
