F.A.B.R.I.C. in Tempe, Arizona Showcases Project Runway Fashion Designers
Photos, story by Cassie Hepler Bravo TV’s Project Runway designers hit Arizona’s “hautest” runway in an exclusive fashion show to help celebrate F.A.B.R.I.C.’s two-year anniversary in November 2018. F.A.B.R.I.C. Tempe is a collaboration to combine apparel manufacturing resources, creative professionals, co-op work space, events, industry training and more. Partially funded by Downtown Tempe, it is Arizona’s fashion headquarters. Services include design and manufacturing (tech packs, patterns, grading marking, cutting, no minimum sewing), event spaces (co-working offices, event space, photo studios, meeting space), education (classes, private lessons. fashion business consultations, camps) and resources (AZ Fashion Directory, calendar, jobs and news). Four Seasons Hosts Sneak Peak Party at BOK Building to Celebrate Comcast Plans in Philadelphia, PA
Greens and white candlelight … nature’s simple and perfect analogous match to bacon and eggs. As in Dom’s quote above, I found myself not only “tasting the stars” but doing so beneath them, when the Four Seasons Hotel celebrated its impending 2019 installation atop the Comcast Center by hosting a rooftop, invite-only Pop Down event at South Philly’s BOK building. The eatery’s façade of brown, vertical and wooden planks exudes an all-natural vibe. Story, photos by Sharon Kozden My dietary habits at times leave something to be desired. While I continue to progress toward healthful eating, all that’s often needed is the siren call of buffalo wings, Chinese takeaway and fried chicken for the temptation to be too great, and I cave. When invited to try honeygrow in King of Prussia‘s Town Center, my curiosity trumped any hesitancy. Would honeygrow be my culinary nightmare of only nutritious food? What works for me is what lies between, namely a sports-bar and grill’s casual dining experience. No primping necessary.
