The theater formerly known as the Prince Theater was renamed; marquee now boasts new signage. “And there are words, significant words, you do not want to say, words that account for busted-up lives, words that try to fix something ruined that shouldn’t be ruined and no one wanted ruined, and that words can’t fix anything. Philadelphia Film Society Oscar Awards Night Party: A Night to Remember at Prince Theatre
Photo, story by Brittany Harlow On Oscar night, Sunday, February 28th, The Philadelphia Film Society hosted an Awards Night Party and Screening at the Prince Theatre. The glamorous event was lavish in golden Oscar inspired décor, and the guests arrived dressed to the nines. The black tie optional event featured a red carpet, mobile photographers (amateurs like myself included) and a professional photo station. In attendance were a variety of Philadelphia’s best, and definitely some of its best dressed too. From classic 30’s Hollywood-inspired looks to more modern day red carpet looks, the event was dotted with well-dressed guests and I was blown away by their looks for the evening. Upon entering the…
