Robert Hall Winery is an organic, family-owned and operated Paso Robles winery in California! We started our whirlwind wine tasting tour being greeted by a sweet tiger kitty Mcaire with this outstanding regenerative organic certified space where they certainly pride themselves on hard work while slaying their craft. These are some outstanding, award-winning wines that represent perfectly the vibrant and premier Paso Robles winemaking region while expressing the spirit of the valley. The estate-grown varieties have big, bold characteristics and our wines are crafted with rich, complex flavors with some of them only available at the mothership location like the sparkling white to sip as soon as you arrive. We also tasted limited Cavern Select wines, a charcuterie board, toured the unique, expansive caverns with a Grape to Glass Excursion ($55) and experienced the good life first thing on a Friday morning. With amazing price points, this place is a no-brainer for wine lovers!
Nestled in the heart of Paso Robles, Robert Hall Winery is where exceptional wines, scenic vineyards, and an inviting experience await. As you’ll see in the video above and photos below, the space is well thought out and giving modern luxury designer style with grand arches and windows. If you taste a seasonal flight of wines featuring their award-winning Cavern Select collection, please allow at least 60 minutes for this experience, hosted in the Tasting Room or on the expansive outdoor terrace. They are pet friendly and have many winery cats guarding the space. Due to restaurant licensing, please keep your pets outdoors – which means they are not allowed inside the tasting room. If you don’t do the cavern tour, pricing is a Classic Flight – $30 per person for five wines, Curated Flight – $35 per person with choose your wine selections and of course tastings are complimentary for members.
This was our very first stop of the day at 9:30 a.m. and we had the honor of exploring with Jacqui, who is a spunky petite Irish lady legend in her own right. She taught us how to not only experience wine, but how to perceive wine for what it was: the result of the people adding their zest, the grapes, the climate, the year and how it all came together to form each vintage year. It was a simply magical morning! Between her humor, personality and expert wine pairings (always give a second sip she says) we had the privilege to taste, our first experience with Robert Hall Wines was simply amazing. If you are new to wine and still learning how to experience it, start here and ask for Jacqui. Very good wines, amazing staff who know about their wines and very generous with the tastings. Life is short, let’s keep drinking good wines!
