To understand this Italian luxury brand’s family tree, you have the start from the beginning. The brains behind the brand, Ferruccio Lamborghini, founded the company in 1963 with plans for a refined grand touring car to compete with other high end brands such as Ferrari. His astrological sign is the strong-willed and stubborn Taurus thus why the golden bull became an iconic logo. In 1993, Ferruccio died of a heart attack at age 76. The famous car company Lamborghini founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini was later sold to the Audi VW group.
Carrying on tradition, his son, Tonino, now runs his own Lamborghini luxury brand while his daughter, Patrizia, runs the family winery. Founded in Italy in 1981 by Mr. Tonino Lamborghini, the company’s headquarters are located in Palazzo del Vignola, a Renaissance villa just outside Bologna’s city walls. Today, at the company’s helm Mr. Lamborghini works side by side with his eldest son, Ferruccio. Vice President and CEO of the company, Ferruccio has inherited from his famous grandfather not only his name, but also his passion for speed as a motorcycling champion in the 2012 Italian Speed Championship. And now the first Tonino Lamborghini flagship store in the United States is open at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Nevada in the Appian Way Shops.
Ferruccio Lamborghini said they chose Caesars Palace “because it takes us back to the grandeur of Rome and to our original Italian roots.” We can all agree the brand’s heritage is the epitome of fine Italian style and design.
Tonino Lamborghini will host events throughout the year with new fragrance collection launches, Las Vegas-exclusive merchandise and one-of-a-kind experiences, as well as sponsored promotions and product samplings at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
