Restore Medical Marijuana Center Opens Second Cannabis Dispensary in Elkins Park, PA
Extracts, capsules, serums, salves, liquids via syringe and tinctures make for a variety of choices of one of Restore’s featured brands.

Restore Integrative Wellness Center has done it again! They opened a second medical marijuana dispensary on Old York Road in Elkins Park, PA this fall. Restore has the distinction of being Philadelphia’s very first such outlet, when its premier location was launched in the spring of 2018 in Philly’s Fishtown section (just across from the Fillmore). Both dispensaries are similar in size and staff, all of whom are at the ready to dispense not only product but a wealth of information and knowledge. A third outlet is slated for a summer, 2019 opening. With three being the proverbial charm, Restore’s latest venture will call charming Doylestown, PA home.
After the Fishtown location opening, spring turned to summer, summer to fall, and on September 26th in Elkins Park, I again found myself at Restore Integrative Wellness Center on the occasion of their second preview party … a week prior to its public opening. The event was well represented with local members of the business community, Restore principals, political figures, media and other invited guests. As with the previous function, the drink and food offerings were top notch. Perhaps even more dazzling to behold than the artfully presented hors d’oeuvres was the unmistakably dynamic artwork installation in the refurbished site’s waiting room. In addition to the many other building updates, Philadelphia graffiti artist GlossBlack‘s mural graces the entry room, showcasing the Center’s apt motto, “dispensing happiness.”
The overall design aesthetics at both locations are replicated, boasting modern simplicity from exterior façade to interior décor, spaciousness, product displays placed in a manner devoid of stacking and clutter–the better to not overwhelm (as do grocery stores) with endless arrays of choices. Everywhere you look, you’ll find a clean, neat, inviting and relaxing environment. The aforementioned mural is a colorful wall in itself; the interior room housing product contains large prints of cannabis plants in enlarged and nearly magnified stages.
Many clients who frequent Restore with their medically approved cards are doing so while in varying stages of pain and suffering; consequently, the low-key, serenity-inducing atmosphere was carefully considered with said clients’ needs and challenges in mind. From the get-go, attention was (and is) paid to client comfort and a commitment to helping them. From owners to staffers and anyone in between, these folks are friendly-they know their stuff, purpose, goals and more, and they are fiercely determined in efforts to share and educate at every opportunity. While I’m not a card-carrying member or yet ready to make the plunge into such treatment, the growing body of evidence regarding the benefits of medical marijuana can’t be ignored. I’ve heard many “swear-by-it” efficacy stories. These cannabis dispensaries are rapidly proliferating. Restore Integrative Wellness Center, according to their website is, “here to assist you by any means possible and aid you in restoring your quality of life and overall sense of well-being.”
If good things come in threes, and we’re thisclose to summer, here’s to Restore Integrative Wellness Center’s third medical marijuana facility dispensing even more happiness. Doylestown, PA or bust!

Not to detract from the mural as backdrop, but this is one beautifully presented spread. Guests plated generously.
Restore had catered a delicious variety of light bites for their open house’s preview festivities.
These mouth-melting creations were in high demand.
I have no words for this piece of art. Actually, I have too many descriptors but a single caption can’t contain them all.
If this array of sweet goodies doesn’t satisfy your sweet tooth, I can’t help you.
Chilling and smiling with an equally chill crowd.
