Glamsino Night Gets Glitzy for Action Wellness at Hotel Palomar

On a wonderfully clear and crisp night, people of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gambler lovers attended Glamsino Night at Hotel Palomar in Center City, Philadelphia. Attendees were greeted by the lovely Kate Marlys of Philly PR Girl whose offices are in downtown Center City along with Action Wellness, formerly of ActionAids, which now raises funds for any cause that impacts people, not just those with aids. Hotel Palomar was the primary donor, donating the space, food and beverages and bringing in the Gaming Association with black jack, roulette, crabs, and money wheel tables, along with the people who showed you how to play the games.

Included in the evening’s event was a raffle of many, many prizes, including stays at Kimpton hotels in various states including Washington DC, Colorado, New Mexico, and Chicago. In addition, the lovely ladies of drag graced the Money Wheel and the raffle of the many prizes that were featured for the night. Miss Pennsylvania also attended and had a hand at the roulette table towards the end of the evening while posing for the cameras and with guests.

On top of celebrities and attendees the buffet and passed hors d’oeuvres where to die for! Brie and fig jam crostini’s, fresh empanadas, grilled chicken skewers, and all complemented with spicy grilled chicken, fresh rice and beans and the most decadent chocolate cake. Guests were encouraged to dress up, ladies wore sequins and feathers, and there were masks and feather centerpieces throughout. I had an absolute blast with everyone that I met, and I even got lucky on the roulette and money wheel tables!
