If you ever wanted to feel like you’re out of the city… but not really, then this is the event for you. One of the largest food festivals of the fall is back! Mt. Airy’s Street Fare returns to Germantown Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 from 6-10:30 p.m. This year over 50 food trucks and restaurants are on the roster plus live music, family fun, vendors and more. The fun starts between Sedgwick and West Mt. Airy Avenue and draws over 11,000 people. Below are some preview pics to tempt your palate and presence into attendance.

Mt. Airy is SEPTA-accessible with two regional rail lines that connect Mt. Airy to Center City Philadelphia. Mt. Airy is only a 20 minute train ride from Center City. Via Chestnut Hill West line (formerly the R8), get off at Carpenter or Allen Lane Station. Via the Chestnut Hill East line (formerly the R7), get off at Sedgwick Station. The neighborhood can also be reached by the H, XH, and 23 bus lines, which connect to the Broad Street Line at the Erie station. Valet parking will be available on a first come, first served basis.
