Philadelphia Flower Show: A Hint of Spring, Not Yet Sprung
By Cassie Hepler Marking the end of winter each year, the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show reminds the Northeast that there is a such thing as grass, flowers, plants and… Spring! Held at the end of February into the first week of March, this year’s theme was “Celebrate the Movies,” with themed displays, special events and more in celebration of the silver screen. Special events including live entertainment, demonstrations, gardening workshops, tea parties, celebrity guests and more enticed flower lovers (and haters) alike (see below). Held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, it is the world’s oldest and largest indoor flower show by attracting more than 260,000 visitors each year.
