iPic Theaters Mixes Movies, Chefs and Crafted Cocktails for a Luxury Escape in Scottsdale, AZ

Story by Cassie Hepler, photos courtesy of iPic Theaters

Imagine going to the movies in your own first class VIP pod for two. Now imagine pressing a button to have ninja waiters dressed in all black suddenly appear at your beck and call to deliver you chef created menu items (like steak!) and crafted from scratch cocktails. This place does exist and it exists in Arizona only in Scottsdale at iPic Theaters… a perfect luxury escape from those sweaty summer days or nights!

You know how all the theaters are finally catching on to lounge chair style movie chairs instead of the stiff-as-a-board old school style? Well, iPic was the first to upgrade. And since everybody else is doing it, it’s now time to lead the way yet again while maintaining the same pricing. Imagine that! Eight screen, iPic theaters now feature exclusive patent-pending viewing pods with non-neck crunching front-row chaise lounges.

Scottsdale’s new auditoriums are home to iPic’s seating pods that you can pre-reserve your seats on their app, arriving with courtesy personal pillows and blankets. These visionary seating pods, designed to provide an intimate seating and sound experience complete with booming bass vibration, boast state-of-the-art design innovation and revolutionary acoustic technology for superior sound. Comprised of two leather seats, they fully recline at the touch of a button and are encapsulated by an elegant curved wood enclosure with personal cup holders. The pods and new chaise lounges are also equipped with swivel tables, service call buttons and a convenient cubby in the corner to tuck away small items.

This could you you with a buttload of food, drinks and your favorite movie. Level up!
Welcome to the future with luxury accommodations at iPic Theaters in Scottsdale, AZ. We tested out the loud wrapper theory and it seemed only we could hear our own noise. Hurray!
The front row lounge chairs aren’t going to kill your neck at iPic Theaters. The company may have sacrificed seat space for comfort and we recommend airlines might do the same… just saying!

In addition to viewing the latest Hollywood blockbusters, members and guests will be able to enjoy alternative content such as live shows including magic, comedy, along with gaming competitions and other iPic experiential ticketed events. Seats may be reserved ahead of time by visiting iPic.com or downloading the iPic app.

Of course you can always order your favorite beer at iPic Theaters.
With a wall of wine nearby, you can get your favorite wine too at iPic Theaters.
But the best experience is to try these crafted cocktails at iPic Theaters.
This passion colada is made from house made rum and house made mixer and is addictive at iPic Theaters.
The Corazon short is a tart little number at iPic Theaters.
A mocha martini always hits the chocolate spot at iPic Theaters.
The buttermilk fried chicken takes chicken nuggets to new heights at iPic Theaters.
Green Goddess Turkey sliders were light, healthy and delicious at iPic Theaters.
The cheesy pizza options do not disappoint at iPic Theaters. We tried the margherita pizza and liked the thin crust and lots of cheese!
Spicy tuna on rice squares is a sweet treat at iPic Theaters, we probably could have eaten the tops off of all of them!
The steak was the bomb at iPic Theaters and we couldn’t get enough of them, perfectly tender and melts in your mouth!
Cheddar drop biscuits are a huge upgrade from a certain lobster joint at iPic Theaters. Speaking of, they also serve lobster rolls here, the only place in Arizona we’ve heard of so far!
We had some warm, gooey chocolate chip cookies that are probably just as decadent as this M&M cookie at iPic Theaters. And that’s only a tiny sample of the full menu!
