THE Party: An Aptly-Named Event For Organ Donors are Heroes
Story and photos by Tori Radday. Recently, I attended THE Party at the Hyatt at the Bellevue Philadelphia and within the first couple minutes of arriving at the glamorous event, I discovered why it had earned the title of THE Party. The elegant ballroom glowed with enchanting lights as DJ Eddie Tully spun the hottest tunes. Acrobats high in the air, dolled up showgirls and vocals by Jessy Kyle provided entertainment. Top restaurant food stations lined the ballroom and several open bars kept the guests happy. For those of you who are unfamiliar with THE Party, THE party is a yearly event presented by Organ Donors Are Heroes. The event supports…

The glamorous event was lavish in golden Oscar inspired décor, and the guests arrived dressed to the nines. In attendance were a variety of Philadelphia’s best, and definitely some of its best dressed too. From classic 30’s Hollywood-inspired looks to more modern day red carpet looks, the event was dotted with well-dressed guests and I was blown away by their looks for the evening. Upon entering the…

They invited guests to view the work of the featured artists, mingle with other creative-minded people, appreciate the modern atmosphere of the gallery and enjoy light snacks and refreshments. Story, photos by Tori Radday Amy Devan, fashion designer of Naveda, celebrated a fall preview of her line with an intimate gathering of fashion insiders at the Granary apartments in Philadelphia. The small crowd buzzed with excitement, as they were able to see the designs up close and chat with Devan about them. A relaxed, high-class atmosphere greeted guest as they walked in.
